whats your wedding theme?
candy buffet is always a big hit every time i've done it, not very expensive. you can make a donation to your favorite charity and give kisses with a note to let your guest know you donated. see candy lolipos are special and delicious, just tie ribbon around the stick in your wedding colors, or wrap them in tulle in your wedding colors

I say if you are down to the wire and stressing out over this then skip it! favors are really not a MUST and most guests won't even notice that you don't have them. when you do have them most guests forget to even take them! If you really WANT to do them then go for it, but don't stress yourself out this close to the big day because you think you have to. Good luck!

Favors aren't a requirement. It might just be easier not to do them. Besides... I hear a lot from other people about how most favors get left behind anyway.

You can get the cute cardboard boxes at Michaels or Wal-Mart. Fill them with Jelly Bellies in your wedding colors. If you use the clear plastic boxes (Michael's), then you can stack them on a table & it looks really neat...put any leftover jelly bellies in clear plastic bowls at the bar...believe me, they'll disappear quickly!!

Take hershey's kisses (whatever color wrapping works for you. I used silver.) buy 3 to 4 bags. buy a 3/4 inch whole/circle punch from hobby lobby or somewhere like that. Then print out your monogram or whatever you want on colored paper small enough to be seen in these circles. Use double sided tape and tape the paper to the bottom of the kisses. favors for 150 people cost me $25 - $30. Cheap, fast, and you can sprinkle them around the table or put them in a bowl. (we put them in frosted candle holders.3 holders at a table. It does the trick.)

Don't worry too hard. Half of the people don't even take the favors so it is better to have bulk favors at the table rather than individually wrapped things that take a lot of time and money. NOT WORTH IT.

I had the photographer take photos of the guests in front of a neat part of the building we got married in. They posed for the pictures and then were given a special discount after the pictures were posted online. This was a deal I got from the photographer. This took zero work on my part. Just had the DJ remind everyone to have their pictures taken and register on the photo website for the discount.

I know I've left favors behind when attending weddings, not intentionally of course, just not what I was thinking about while at the wedding. Katie, that is an awesome idea! I might have to "steal" it from you. FH's sister-in-law is our photographer (so excited about that, she is great!) so I'm thinking she'll be easy to talk to about this. Otherwise we're leaning towards a donation, I just hate being wasteful and know some of my guests well enough that they won't even notice if there's a favor or not lol! good luck and hope the last few stages of planning go well :)

I like the donation favor idea. Especially if you're only 20 days out. Don't make yourself crazy. I just did a wedding and the bride was assembling favors the night before the wedding and wearing herself out and making everybody stressed.

The absolute easiest? Donate to a charity, make a nice sign saying what you've done in leiu of favors and put it by the guest book and have your MC announce your decision on the charity.

How about custom label water or wine? We offer lots of choices and all are very affordable!

Candy wrapped in tulle with a ribbon tied off in your colors. Get your girls together and it'll be done in no time! Make it a girly movie night or something. :) haha

Candy and food favors never get left behind and are the hottest thing in favors right now. Boxed or bags they also add an element of decor to your tables. You still have time to order for your wedding.
