Wedding colors!
My colors are Hot Pink, Bright Orange, and Black. How should I do my bridesmaids and maid of honors dresses? I have a Matrin of Honor, a Maid of Honor, and 3 Bridesmaids. Also, what should i do about their bouqets? My flowers for them are Gerber Daisies.

I love your colors! I also like the idea of letting your bridesmaids choose their own dress style, using your color palette as they see fit (within your parameter & your final approval, of course!). Most women know what colors & styles they look best in, plus then they won't look like "clones". It sounds like your Maids & Matron are probably different ages, & not everything looks good on everybody.

I also love gerbera daisies. Best to ask your florist for advice for their bouquets!

I would either put your girls in pinks and oranges and have them carry white flowers, such as in this picture:

.
Or I would put them in black dresses and have them carry the brightly colored gerbera daisies, such as in this picture:

.
Hope that helps!

I have my sister as my MOH and two great friends as my BM. I pretty much gave them free reign on their dress choice. I told them they could have different styles/colors, but they all chose the same dress and wanted the colors the same! It was so much fun to go shopping with them and they will all look amazing!

I once saw great evening dresses that could pass as Bridesmaid dresses at Bloomingdales in Hot pink and orange! As a florist, I would suggest for flowers something neutral to tie in both colors- greens, soft yellows, and orchids are great at this!! Good luck! :)

I love your color choices! I think you could do something like this
http://www.alfredangelo.com/Collections/ProductDisplay.aspx?productID=49987b23-385d-4ef9-8700-0afdc5b1c8bd&categoryID=7c3ca069-092f-49d8-a227-b469d1b1f227&pg=1
and have your BMs in one color (like hot pink dress with bright orange sash) and your MOH in the opposite (Orange dress with pink sash) Or even just have them split the colors evenly so half have one way and the other half have the other. And I like the idea of the bright colored daisies for flowers

I love these colors! How about a black sash with orange or pink dresses, or reverse it with black dresses and orange or pink sash? I would choose one color for the MOH and put the maids in the other. Also, adding some black ribbon or jewels to the bouquets would be nice. If you choose pink or orange dresses, you might consider black or onyx jewelry for the maids, it would be a nice accent.

David's Bridal has a nice line of separates that you can add color accents with sashes or bows and the girls can wear different combinations of the colors. I noticed you are having a Matron & Maid of Honor. Would you mind sharing how this is going to work for you, I am considering that idea!

to: BFernz,
well I was going to do the 2 MOH in orange and the other girls in pink, but everyone will have the bouquet in pink and orange gerber daisies with a black ribbon wrapped around the stems. The reason I have the 2 girls is The Maitron of Honor is my sister and the Maid of honor is my best friend. And they both wanted to be a big help and a big part so I couldn't decide between the two so I picked them both. Luckily my sister is married so She gets to be the Matrin of Honor...lol.

It hadn't occurred to me to have both Matron and Maid of Honor, so thank you for the idea. Good luck with the dresses!

I love the pic of the pink dresses and orange waist sashes! That's pretty. But good lord, please do everyone a favor and avoid the orange crinaline hanging out beneath the skirt like in the last photo. Geesh, poor things. lol. ;)
