Venue Deposit

Soo i'm way excited! We went and put the deposit down on our reception venue today (YaY :-) ). It's kind of crazy how just doing that with him really makes you stop and say "Wow, this is really real, this is really happening!" I can't believe how fast time is going. It has almost been a year since he proposed and before I know it I will be walking down the aisle..Crazy how fast time flies! Hopefully by the end of the week I will also have my caterer booked and my dress picked out...Busy week ahead but i'm super excited to finally get things accomplished :-).

Yes! I find myself stopping to say WOW, I'm getting married a lot too LoL. It's a very exciting time! Congrats on your venue selection! :)

I think that when we finally sign a contract & pay a deposit the "REALITY" will hit. Right now I've had pre-reality moments, but I know on that day it will be full blown! Congrats on your venue find.

the same thing just happened to me last tuesday we put the deposit down and icouldnt believe it was finally real. it was some great weight taken off my shoulders however cause i was so nervous about getting our date set in stone so i know exactally how you feel its amazing and now as everyone tells me things will all fall into place

It was a relief to get the venue booked because I knew that day was now reserved for us and I didn't have to look any further at any other venues. I'm getting more excited just thinking that 2010 is almost here and our wedding will be in October. The only thing I have left to book is the florist, yay!

Thank you all for being great! It really helps to make it through this stressful yet fun process with all of you to talk to and be happy with :-). I just hope the rest of the process goes as smoothly as the reception venue did!
