um, i know no one likes the NWR stuff

but i had posted about us not buying the houe, and fh getting me a new ring, and for got to come back and add to the thread about WHY it IS wedding related.....BUT as i saw people were replying, today when i was finally ablew to read replies, and finish my own updatin to it...it's gone...can i ask WHY???

Maybe they did it because of all the drama that has went on over the past few days? But since that has all died down I really hope that they don't start just deleting all NWR posts because that's really dumb to do.

i don't mind the nwr post they never bother me and i post on them and there have been some people on here that have been really mean lately just got to igore them it will be ok

there's no way it was deleted for being NWR....I didn't read all the posts on it but I'm guessing that some of the trouble makers were saying rude things on it or something and just for safe measure the whole thing got taken down. Don't take it personally. I'm glad we don't have to have the reminders on here of the rude stuff because people can't help but comment on them, bringing it all up again. There was nothing wrong with your original post, it was just unfortunate that some people used it as an opportunity to be nasty . Don't worry about it

as proof, if you notice the list of topics to the right of the screen it has "Your Home" and "Money" as possible forum topics....clearly NWR is just fine!

i have when that we had that problem with that fake girl someone brought up why are there nwr post b/c its a wedding form and everyone went nuts saying if she doesn't like it she doesn't have read or post on them

"fake girl"??? do you mean one of the new ones who likes to say stuff just to get everyone worked up? That makes sense.....man, why does everyone fall for it every time? we all know we like sharing our lives with each other sometimes, even outside of wedding stuff

HA! That's a shame soon2B, but take it as a blessing you didn't have to read some of them...I can only imagine what it must have said if they took the whole thing down...but feel free to post NWR anytime, we ALL do it!

everyone should take this as the perfect example of why no one should keep responding back and forth to a post they find rude. I know we all want to defend each other but obviously this is the wrong way to do it. If someone posted something nasty, and no one else did anything but flag it, WW would have deleted only the ONE nasty post and she would have still had the rest to look at. But because everyone wants to jump into the fight it becomes a brawl and the WHOLE thing has to get wiped out....lesson learned right ladies?!?!?!

Well I had replied, but I was one of the first so I don't know what was said after that. I basically said that if you used a realtor and/or had a contract you could have forced the sellers into letting the inspectors in. But, you might want to just let it go because maybe it's a sign that it's not the right house. Oh, and I asked to see a pic of the ring! :)

I dnt see anything wrong with NWR posts because we all feel like a mini family here. There was a post a while back where one of the girls said there shouldnt be those king of post because its a wedding site but not one of the new ones since it was a while ago. Laura i agree with you its takes so much energy. Ive stayed off for like 2days because the other nite i was so upset. Yes ur rt from now on we should just ignore and it is hard. We mostly knw who is who here and we stick up for one another. The more we avoid the better. You should go ahead and repost so we can go ahead and add to it. But like 3.6.10 said u knw sometimes things hapn for a reason. Good luck!!!

so we backed out about an hour and a half before closing! granted, it only need some cosmetic work, and a relocation of the washer/dryer(because the house didn't have true hookups, only a washer hookup, and it was made for stackables, which we don't have), and some other minor things, but we figured we'd best save the money...the GREAT thing?! they just changed the 1st HB credit! NOW, it can be used for a downpayment! so we're going to try again, with a "REAL" house, at tax time, because they've got it set for 8k, not 10% of selling price ;) the only reason we skipped the inspection of the full house, was because i individually contacted the businesses who had done previous work(and whom the owner OWES MONEY TO!), and was told not only would they guarantee the working order of things, they'd do a free inspection of all their work. which was great, simply because the house was rehabbed in may, but since then, had incurred a few stupid things from non-habitation...so...con't d again ;)

fh apparently felt super bad about pulling the plug(i agreed, but since i usually fight about stuff, i didn't fail him rofl), he wanted to go look at pawn shops to get us a new tv, and then i told him we needed to stop at a jewelry shop, since we wanted to get his mom some pearls for christmas...well, we walked out with me wearing a brand new engagement ring! and in fact, it's such a strange band, and i loved it so much, i'm foregoing an actual wedding band, and we're just going to have it inscribed and blessed to double as my wedding ring also ;) yay!!! oh and i went online last night, and ordered FMIL's pearls from zales, and ordered her an "Anastasia" musical jewelry box, inscribed with a personal message from fh, for her to keep them in ;) he wanted something she'd know was just from us, and not "normal". and pearls are the only thing we knew she didn't have, and would love. so she's getting the silver box, and pearl ear/neck/bracelet set! very pretty ;) she's classy like that!

i'm glad you will be able to get anotehr house around tax time! everything happens for a reason so i'm happy for you even though you didnt get the house if that makes sense :) and how exxciting for you to get a new ring! sounds like you really love it !!

One person had an issue with NWR posts that I know of but I'm fine with them. We don't live for other people so if others don't like them that is what the scroll button on the mouse is for....so they can slide right past it.

I LOVE THE RING!!! :-D!! we're getting my band from zales, they have great deals, cheap is GOOD!! :-D about the house, maybe that was ment to be, backing out, and now you see you didn't exactally fall inlove with the house. So come tax time, and house hunting again, I hope you's fall in love with the perfect house!! Good luck, and congrats!! My engament ring looks (is) a wedding band but we found another that goes good with it so I'll have both..
