Tampa Brides! Where can I get a wedding cake that's not to expensive?
I need a cake to feed 100 ppl, but can't afford anything crazy. Me & my FH don't really care for cake. I just want something thats simple & taste good. I don't wanna brake my bank.

1. Publix
2. Sam's Club
3. Super Wal-Mart
4. Costco Club
5. BJ's club

Yeah Walmart's are $138 super cheap! Do you think anybody will know it's from there though. Also how well does cake travel? They don't deliver.

If they notice its because they had one from there too so no big deal ;) If you get the buttercream its like a regular bday cake so you'll have to be really careful and prepare for a possible mess up. Oh and id say you'd deff want to delegate this task to one person.

Publix cakes are both delicious and very affordable. I went to the bridal show today over on Kennedy and they had one on display it was called the magnolia design and it was BEAUTIFUL!! I hadnt seen it in thier books that they usually have in the stores. You may want to call and ask but they have wonderful cakes that are inexpensive.

By the way, Walmart and Sam's Club cakes do not taste good (in my opinion) therefore I wouldnt really suggest getting a cake from them. Not that the guest would know where it came from, they would just know it didnt taste good.

I LOVE Laurie @ A Piece of Cake. She uses real butter in her frosting and the cake is super moist. I tried a red velvet cupcake with vanilla icing at a show last week and it was out of this world! She owns her owns bakery and takes great price in her cakes. Super nice lady!

She's on Memorial Drive in Tampa.
