My understanding is that the GROOM pays for the Honeymoon. So I guess where you go and what you do depends on your budget!

I think it is the groom's family, but FH and I are paying for our own.

Portland was great this summer - lots to do in the city and in the surrounding wine country.

We got vases for the centerpieces at www.dollarstore.com. They have lots of vases, cost $1 each, and you can ship to a store near you.

I was just telling someone else that I'd recommend a nice All-Inclusive resort in Riviera Maya. Right now with the economy like it is, the packages out there are really affordable. My travel agent has found me amazing deals within the last year and I already booked another vacation for Winter for only around $1100 each for 7 days. it includes everything from air, hotel, food and drink. Obviously you could shorten that up and it will be cheaper. If you're worried about the cost, you could set up a honeymoon registry that friends and family can contribute to at your bridal shower or wedding (just like you'd register at a store). Here's where you could contact someone for help. I don't recommend trying to plan online, it can get stressful and with wedding planning I'm sure you're stressed enough :). http://www.gofox.com/foxselect/honeymoon-travel.php

I say the best honeymoons are all inclusive so you don't have to worry about a thing once you get there. They are so nice and relaxing. I am not sure who is supposed to pay for the honeymoon but we are paying for ours...well technically I am paying for it with my bonus money.
