So Lost!!
So my FH is in the navy. We will be stationed in PA for maybe a year and a half. then we will be going to maybe washington state. I am originally from Fl, which I will be leaving in Dec to join him in PA. And am getting married 9-10-11. Where should I plan my wedding at? I had all kinds of places picked out in PA, but now, we wont even be there the time of the wedding!!

how about having it closer to where your families live? Since you guys aren't connected to a certain place you could make it easer for all your guests. My wedding was over 3 hours away from where we live. Yeah it can be a pain but it can totally be done, it doesn't have to be the place where you two are living.

I am from PA btw, and are you new? Welcome to WW! I know a place in PA thats really cool to have a wedding and reception at, its actually at my dream venue (too pricey for us) its a really cool historic mansion. If you are going to be in Washington state then maybe you should look at places online there as well, just to get an idea, I would talk to him too and see what he thinks. If you do decide to have your wedding reception/ceremony in PA let me know, I can help you find venues if you need more. (I know you said you had a couple in mind in PA, but if you need extra help let me know) :)

ah yeah that's tough! We had something of a similar problem where no matter where we had it, many people would be traveling. So we picked a middle point for everyone. We and friends are in in VA, his family is in northern PA poconos area and my family was in south Jersey...we held our wedding in Philly, middle point for everyone....if you would like a historic mansion in PA I HIGHLY recommend Glen Foerd Mansion, its right on the water....the food and staff are impeccable! you can see it all over my website and even watch my wedding video highlight that shows you the whole place in action..just got to my profile and click on my wedding website

There is the link for the contact info for the person involved in reserving rockford plantation for your reception, there is no pressure hunny, I am just trying to help, but there are also pics of what the inside of the barn looks like and what weddings look like at this paticular venue, good luck! O BTW, the person's # is on the bottom of the link.

Honestly, I would do the wedding in FL. Do you still have fam that live down here? I say FL b/c that is where your from. And it seems to make sense. And who wouldn't want to come to Florida? I love it here.

You just look like someone that went to school with me. I am from South Florida. I went to WCY and FHS in P. Pines. you know where that's at?

Your right it is really hot down here. My wedding is in March so it's not that bad then. Do it in PA!!!
It's a great place and there are alot of things to do there.
