I think you should wear whatever makes you comfortable. Why can't you wear a gorgeous white dress if you choose? I'd keep it classy, but any bride should.

I am going to be 48 early next month and 4 days later getting married for the 2nd time...I am wearing a white gown....

So, I am with agreement with everyone else before me...wear what you feel comfortable in...what you want to

there are no rules.....

I will be 50 when I get married for the second time. You can wear any kind of dress/gown/pants you would like to wear. While it may not be your first wedding, it is your first wedding to your FH!!

I am actually wearing a bridesmaid dress in ivory mainly because we are having a DW, biker themed(with a touch of casual elegance).

My biggest problem in finding a dress was my size. I need a plus size for the top. So, if you need a plus sized top, Alfred Angelo has a nice selection. I also checked out many "mother of the bride/groom dresses", but nothing wowed me.

Throw tradition out the window, wear what you want and if it is a ball gown then so be it! It is your day :)

The love of my life finally found me and I am marrying him at 52. I am wearing a traditional white gown and feel fabulous in it. Wear what makes you feel like a bride. Do you have any ideas yet?

This was my second marriage too and I chose ivory this time as well. I just bought whatever I liked and was comfortable in. I'm 41.

We had a great time in full Scottish regalia. (My husbands sons and grandsons also wore kilts) I wore a lace trimmed ivory suit with a tartan sash.

I'm a second-time bride, and 34. The first wedding, I chose the sort of dress everyone wanted me to wear - traditional, full skirt, etc. This time? I said hell with it all and draped myself in elegant champagne satin.

It is also my 2nd marriage. I'm planning on an ivory dress without a train. I'm going shopping tomorrow. I'm open to whatever makes me feel beautiful. I look back at my 1st one and think what was I thinking LOL!
