Registries
So FH and I are finally going to be able to register at some places this coming week and I was wondering if you ladies had any suggestions on where would be some good places to go. Also, currently my family lives in rural area and a lot of his family lives in city area so if we register somewhere around here will his family also be able to see the registry in the same store where they live?

We don't want or need anything after 10 years together but....of course they say you must register some where. So Bad, Bath & Beyond is our store of choice. For the lower budgets Target also works well. If your families have access to the internet shopping for you will be a easy. Almost every registry is online! If not, when they go to the store they will be able to print out your wish list since everything is computerized these days.

We are doing BB&B and HoneyFund. FH wanted Target but I have read about too many mishaps like the registry dissapearing, items not being checked off... not that it can't happen elsewhere, but... Also it sounds like BB&B has a great return policy.

Thank you girls yea my aunt got married a few years ago and she had a bad situation. Her registry got mixed up with someone else. They got a bunch of stuff they didn't ask and they didn't know why at first and then after the wedding my uncle's parents bought them "the rest of the items on their list" ... and it was still stuff they didn't ask for. But they were pretty well set on their things as well so I guess it didn't matter much for them.

we are going to register at bed bath and beyond. if you want a place that will reach all your family that is a good place to register. the only US state bed bath and beyond is not in yet is hawaii. but they are in all other 49 states and cananda. Its also great for if your friends and family want to just shop online they can pull up your registry and itll update it there. also like dawndawn said they do have a great return policy. they seriously take back anything and everything. they also have everything youll need to register for you may not see it in the store but they have so much other stuff online that in the store you can register for too

I can vouch for what PP have said about about Bed, Bath and Beyond. FH works there (in NC) and they are very good to their brides. We will def be registering there. But FH says we can't register for anything that's really annoying to gift package haha. And yes, they will take pretty much anything back (which tends to drive him nuts, because lots of people abuse the system). He's also heard stories from the brides that come in about how horrible Targets registry process is. Good luck!

I'm registering at bed bath and beyond and macy's. I heard and read in several bridal mags it's always good to register at more than one place, no more than three places in order to give your guests a variety of price points and items to choose from.

We are registering at bed bath and beyond! Just a bit of information! My FSIL got married a year ago and she registered at Target and BB&B and she said that returning things to Target was a headache you need to have your reciept it was just bad! She also said the BB&B was great because you get money back not a credit if you need to return something!!
