Popcorn Bar! :)
So we're doing a popcorn bar at the reception, what do you guys think would be good add-ins to have on the table? I haven't been able to come up with many so far.

Also, I was thinking about using paper bags for guests to put it in (our wedding is rustic outdoor/in a cave). Does that sound like an ok plan? If not how else would you guys plan for it to be served?

*were having a free standing popcorn machine there so it will be hot and fresh! :)

A popcorn bar is a great idea! There are so many great flavors that can be used. Paper bags will work fine, but make sure you get some that are grease resistant.

I love the idea! Are you doing different flavors or just the machine? I would have at least cheese and caramel flavors so guests can get a variety, something along these lines

I think the metal buckets look great and very easy to tie into your colors/theme.

Yum! I think paper bags are fine!

You're looking for things people can add to the popcorn? Maybe nuts, milk duds-- or other carmel-ish candy. You can also get kettle corn, cheddar, and other powdered popcorn flavorings if you'd like.

Thanks everyone :)

I'm planning on doing the different powders for sure, and I had thought of chocolate but that's about it.

Any more ideas for things other than the powders?

The easiest thing for you and the guests is to offer a few bottles of popcorn flavoring, which you can get at the grocery store or even make yourself and put it in bottles. That way, guests can add as much or as little as they want and there is less waste! Garlic and Parmesan, cheddar or ranch are delicious options.

Love the idea but hoping you have unlimited drinking at your bar because you are going to have some thirsty people!

I think any morsels/chips flavor would work. White chocolate, milk chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter, etc. All would be tasty.

Salt & Black Pepper is FH's favortie.

I think Laura's flavors sound delicious too!

Jalapenos, Cajun seasoning mix, sprinkles, caramel sauce, M&Ms . . . paper bags sound perfect! Maybe you can order or make little stickers to personalize the bags? Even without these, I think it's such a good idea.

Thanks for all the great ideas ladies! :) I'm really excited about it! FHs family are big popcorn eaters so I'm sure they will be ecstatic, it's a surprise for most of them.

@ Melissa thanks so much that's an awesome link!

@Laura, I love that set up! And I hadn't even thought of popcorn balls! I may have to add some of them as well!!!

@ Kaity, yes it is actually in a cave! :) Well be having our ceremony along the riverbank of the river that flows into the cave. There is a ballroom area set up inside the mouth of the cave. It is so beautiful! I wish I could post pictures, but I'm on my phone.

Here's a link to the page so you can see it if you'd like :)
