Out of town boxes or gift bags
My wedding is a destination wedding, we are getting married in Springfield, MA. We reserved a block of rooms for our guests in which I want to welcome the guests with a box or bag of goodies. Has anyone done this already and if you have give me ideas of what your boxes or bags looked like and where I can purchase them. I'm on a tight budget, I need about 80 of them.

Oct brides we have 66 days to go.... OMG!

Thank you ladies..

my girlfriend did plain white bags with a 2 mini bottles of water, some crackers, some m&m's, some 100 cal packs of cookies, and a thank you note. That was it. It shouldnt be too much to get these done. Just label them with the guests name if you are going to have the hotel pass them out as guests check in.

Well I have no need for gift bags but doing something simple like CelticChick posted sounds easy and inexpensive. Some good snacks are always good to receive! How are you feeling by the way?

I'm thinking Dollar Tree: http://www.dollartree.com/catalog/search.cmd?form_state=searchForm&keyword=giftbags&x=0&y=0

or

Paper Mart: http://www.papermart.com/

I would have considered the OOT bags but it doesn't look like too many people are using my hotel block so far :-/

I've heard that other people are also putting in a list of local attractions in their guest bags so that people can go sight seeing while they are there.

here is link for black bags you could use and they are actually reusable shopping bags so they will be functional for your guest.

I definitely thought of getting them at dollar tree, like pp mentioned. I'm also getting coloring books for those w/ kids from the dollar tree. We're going to cost-co to get snack items, and we're probably going to put a map of our state or something in it as well. We figure that with the cheap baskets they don't have to worry about not taking it back with them on the plane, they can just throw it away.
