Yea, the more time you can give urself the better, always remember this: ITS YOUR DAY, SO ITS WHAT YOU AND FH WANT, DO NOT GO BY OTHERS SCHEDULES WHEN YOU PICK A VENUE/DATE! So have u thought about any themes or colors yet? Do you know where u are going to have ur wedding ceremony/reception? I don't mean 2 give u the 3rd degree, sry... LOL

my mother has already told me that.and I learned it from helping with her wedding. lol. I already picked the date. November 11 of 2011. My mother wants two years of college before the wedding and I agreed. The colors,I believe me and him have finally agreed on colors. Red, chocolate with an accent color of Ivory is what I believe we are set on. and there is this pavilion in a town near by, that costs $200 for four hours and then $63 for every hour after taht, and it is BEAUTIFUL. Me and my FH are going to look on Thanksgiving break and talk to different venues, and then decide, but I think we are going to go with the pavilion

Just a side note, When we picked our weddiing date, we didn't realize that we picked 11/11/2011 *11/11/11* until my mom pointed it out. Rofl

Thats so cool, FH and I were thinking maybe 10-10-10 but then he found out that day is on a Sunday and he said he wanted to get married on a Saturday. So we are not doing that... LOL. But I love that day 11-11-11, thats so cool!

My brothers birthday is 11/11. And it's a great thing that you are starting out early since it is one of those dates people love choosing because of the number combination. That one might be even more popular because it is the same number all the way through 11-11-11. Anyway, I'm glad you have joined and all the ladies on here are so wonderful at helping and giving advice about things. I know your mom was always a great help!

Welcome nish......welcome to the stressful world of wedding planning as you may already know from you mom. I think it is wonderful that you will be doing two yrs of college b4 you take the plunge. By picking your date 11/11/11 you will have time for your studies and your planning ......very good choice...you are on a good path towards preparing your future.
