I need your help...Can you help me decorate this wine bottle?
I'm giving these wine bottles away as gifts to the people that will be attending our rehearsal dinner. I've attached two pics, one that shows the black neck without the ribbon and one that has the ribbon around the neck of the bottle. My sister says she doesn't think they need the ribbon up at the top but I feel they need something else. I will be adding a small square thank you tag hanging off somewhere but what else do you think it needs? Thanks for your input :)

I've received wine as gifts and have had a simple bow or stringy ribbon dangling from the bottle neck.

Could you do a few thing strings of ribbon dangling from the neck and curl it....like you do with balloon ribbon or whatever its called? And hang your thank you tag with the ribbon. And if you really wanted to mess around with it you could make a cute bow in the from and have the ribbon and tag dangling from one side of the bow or underneath the bow. Ill attach some pic that may help you out

I think they look great with the ribbon. I found this DIY site w/ patterns you can use.
Here are my (not so crafty) ideas:
1. If you have your Thank yous already, you caould use a wine bag and put them inside the bag.
2. If you are up to making a thank you, you could use a wine bag and attach card stock containing your thank you.
3. if you can afford a wine opener to give as well, attach the opener and thank you w/ ribbon.

As a wine person, I want to know...what's the wine? I can't read the label.

@Kathy-I just made our own wine labels but it's actually something I got at a local liquor/wine store by the case. Vista Mar 2009 Merlot and for those that like something a little sweet and white, I got a Reisling.
