Nah, their nicknames might be Jill and Lilly, which are different enough. ^_^

I don't think so. After all she will be your child you should name her what you want. In my family we have 5 Matthews, well soon to be 6 with my FH. If people get the names confused just come up with a cute nick name for her. like lilly or something.

i dont think theres anything wrong with that! i have a cousin name emma, and my FH has a cousin named emma! but ive always wanted a little girl named emma too!...so we'll probably name our first girl emma! :) i see nothing wrong with that...you cant help the names that you find cute:)

OMG if I counted how many Emilys' there are in my family I would faint. So, when my sister was born, my step mom insisted on her name being Emily.. but they just spelled is screwy... LoL

Anyhow, the name is fine and not too similiar.
Besides its not like you live next to eachother. You only see eachother a few times a year... but either way, it would still be okay :o)

I'm not expecting now. We are getting married in about 8 months and we hope to start trying soon afterwards.

We have a an Ashley, Ashlin, Alisha, close together but not too confusing.

I don't think it would be confusing... and the girls might actually enjoy having similar names.

i have a cousin named Kara and my sister's name is Sara, and they always loved that their names rhymed when they were little.

I have a cousin with my exact same name (first AND last) and its fine, she has a nickname she uses and people usually call her by that nickname, or by our first and middle combined (our middle names are different) when we are in the same place. Here your names are not identical so you will be fine. Lillian is a beautiful name, btw.
