Do you have Nero? Nero has that option. When you add a song file to make an audio or mp3 CD, after adding it you can go to "properties" (I think), and specify the start and end times.

What song are you trying to edit? Maybe I can help you.

Sure! We cut from one part of a song to another all the time, especially for the processionals and unity candle. Sometimes it's a big surprise (they came out too soon or they're walking FAST), and we all look at each other and end together gracefully. Of course, I'm describing a live chamber group, not a recording.

So are these programs that have been suggested difficult to use?

Nero Wave Editor (pretty sure that's the program) is super easy. If I can do it, anyone can!

Very simple to use. Just drag your cursor to where you want to start in the song and then delete the part of the song up until that point in time.
