Manzanita Tree
Another DIY project...does anyone know how to purchase these, do you just order one? I'm all confused, I am on a website literally confused about tree branches, lol...I am doing this look, except the branches will be spray painted Royal blue, in a platinum vase with a satin black ribbon and rhinestone buckle around the vase, this is going to be the centerpiece on my place card table.

This the look I am going for with the vase, but the vase itself will be a platinum colored vase with the black ribbon rhinestone buckle

they also have them at michaels.....warning manzanitas are pricey! To get them this size and enough to be this full it will add up. I think it would be gorgeous on the guest card table!

Talk to a florist or go to one of their websites. You should be able to buy the branches from there.

no prob! the rhinestone buckles ended up being a repwated imaged throughout my wedding, starting with the invites I made, on my boards...so I needed a lot of them, these were great quality and a great deal!
Also make sure to check the size listed by the manzanitas before you order them. I kept thinking I'd found a great deal and then see that they are only 5" tall or something..

A less expensive alternative to the manzanita is to use Curly Willow. Especially since you're only going to hang the delicate beads...you don't need something too thick to hold those. The Curly willow is less sturdy and bendy...but if you let it dry out for a day or two it won't bend as much. It just really depends on what you're looking for though. You can see images where I used curly willow for some large arrangements on my page.

Best of luck!

I'm putting mine on the place card table. There is NO WAY, I would do these for all of my tables, too expensive!

CARE can you explain exactly what the place card table is? There are so many things that im not used to with the American Style weddings i guess. I was planning on just putting everyones names at the place they will be sitting??? Is there anywhere else I could use this tree idea its just so gorgeous.

A place card table is basically where you have cards with your guests names on them and what tables they will be sitting at...It's a decor item that they see when they first walk into your venue

Thanks care. Im trying to figure out now where else to incorporate this tree because I think we are going to have specific seats for people (certain members of his family need to be kept far away from both of us lol)

I actually lucked out on manzanita branches. They grow naturally a couple hours north of Phoenix (I got mine in Show Low, AZ). I was able to go up there and get two branches for my place card and gift tables. Just FYI for the Phoenix area brides.
