Thats awesome Kimberly! I find it so strange how different the rules on marriage licenses vary from county to county, from state to state.

@FMC, really it is crazy. We have to take a blood test before we can apply for license in Mississippi

They used to require that in Oklahoma but stopped it about 10 years ago. Here our license is only good for 10 days so we really have to go the week of the ceremony. We get the license the same day and have 30 days to return the signed license to the court clerk!

Starting July 1 the blood test will no longer be required here. The marriage license is indefinite here once you apply for it but the blood test has a 30 day expiration date.
