How to decorate my tree-house ceremony?
I am getting married on the deck of a tree-house at my local zoo. I am having a modern/vintage purple, gray and black wedding. I am having no real flowers except my fabric flower bouquets. I think this location would look odd with an arch since we are up in the trees. Any suggestions for some decorations or something to stick at the end of the aisle or down it?

First of all, what a very neat space!! I think, in this case, it would be ok to go with less decorations.. will your guests be seated in chairs? can you hang something from the sides of the chairs that form the aisle with petal cones or mason jars (yes, both are used a lot, but whatever, looks pretty ;)
Since you aren't doing real flowers, maybe you want to keep going on that note by making tissue poms or even fabric flower poms to hang from the chairs.. Again, I don't think I would go all out on the ceremony, it's a beautiful space. You may choose to do a runner, maybe a purple one for a nice pop of color? (I don't know what color your BM dresses are.. if they are wearing light purple, maybe get a dark runner or if they are in dark purple, a light colored runer)

Yes, the guest will be in chairs. Ooh the runner is a good idea. I'll probably do that. It did not even come to mind.

I'll be the odd-ball out: I wouldn't. That space is just gorgeous and I feel like if you're not careful, you'll clutter out thae natural beauty. I agree with Jen. Less is certainly more.

Do you plan to do anything in the reception space? You could probably put a lot more energy there.

I figured less was more....I love my venue.i am having a brain fart for reception decor. The is one wall that has a 5-6 ft long bar type thing that is steel and we can have a fire lit across it it. It has uplighting along the whole porch and my ceremony will be at 630pm so it will look awesome. It about 500ft up and all guest take a 4 min ride on a funicular to get to the wedding.

Sounds awesome, can I come?! I'll help decorate! lol
So I definitely think a slate gray table cloth with some purplish flowers in simple vases would look great.. if you are against flowers all together, maybe some candle sets.. do you have any budget for reception decor such as centerpeices? are you trying to go all DIY?,

You can come if you help decorate.lol. I am d.i.y.ing eve.ry.thing. The venue only give a choice of white or black linens so I did black. That leaves me with gray and purple other stuff.
