Honeymoon Ideas??
We don't even know where to begin. Our budget is limited, and we would like to go somewhere secluded...Maybe the mountains in a cabin? Any ideas?

for a limited budget i would suggest some sort of all inclusive resort where you wont have to worry about paying for food at all.

I'll be traveling from KS, and we will most likely want to drive to our destination..not Colorado..I was thinking somewhere north.

We went to Portland and the weather was great! Not a secluded place really, but you might try the wine county and Multnomah Falls.

If you want to stay in the U.S. and drive to your destination you could look at Door County in Wisconsin. It's beautiful in the Summer and Fall.

How about Michigan's Upper Peninsula? The Keeweenaw is particularly beautiful in the summer, and not too hot. We are renting a cabin on the a bay off Lake Superior for a week.

Since your budget is limited for your honeymoon, have you thought of creating an online honeymoon registry? I got married last year Nov. 2008 and while I planned my own wedding, I realized I had gone so far over my budget that it was hard to afford a decent honeymoon (all my money was literally going toward my wedding expenses). So to help me pay for my own honeymoon, I created a honeymoon registry on what I consider to be a great website, AGreatAffair.com. I first created my registry on-line, then invited my friends and family to visit the site. And because of my friends and family's generous cash gift, I ultimately received over $4000 from them which was more than enough to pay for my honeymoon in Hawaii. If your interested in creating a honeymoon registry to help you pay for your honeymoon, please consider visiting us at AGreatAffair.com. Best of luck to you!
