Hmmm...What shall the guys wear??

As my FH pointed out the other night, he really doesn't want to pick things and what not, just show up and party! (lol, typical man) Left me wondering, what should the men wear? It's an outdoor wedding, and I know I would like them in suits, My colors are chocolate brown and Champagne, my dress is ivory, I'm not sure what would look 'dapper' If I want contrasting vest/ties, I see brown suits, they look nice, but then I think, BROWN SUIT?!?! THe maids are in chocolate brown dresses. Any Ideas? thanks!

Hhhmmm. At first I was thinking black suit with champagne vests and tie/bow tie. But if your girls are in brown.....maybe have th GM in brown and your FH in champagne? I did that with mine. The GM in teal and my groom in silver. There is a good pic of all of them on my profile if you want an idea. Don't know if this helps at all.

I just don't know if the brown vest will go good with the black tux. I am uncertain about brown suits too. I think it is either black or white or nothing! But I'm not creative

Here is a pic from my best friends cousins wedding. She had the chocolate brown BMs dresses and the GM wore black tuxes with brown vests and ties. I don't think it looks bad but personally I think it's a just a tad bland. http://www.snaptive.com/angelica_gallery.html#8

I'd seen some pics where the GMs wore light brown/khaki suits and I thought they looked good for a summer wedding. I'll see if I can find a pic...

You're right. It doesn't pop or stand out at all. I think the champagne color would look good. Then you'd have all your colors.

i;m very much enjoying the tan suits!! i think if youw ent with the champgne vests and the black suits you would need a dark shirt because i think that wont stand out on the white shirt

I actually like the black suits with the brown vests. I think it looks more sleek and traditional looking. What time of the day is your wedding gonna be?

The pic that The Potters posted is nice because it's got the chocolate brown tie to coordinate with the bms dresses.

I like the look of the tan suit, and the black on brown! Thanks for posting pictures, our wedding is at 3 pm. I thought maybe like a blakc suit with brown vest, ivory shirt and champagne tie, all contrasting, but I haven't seen pictures of it!

My colors were ivory, chocolate and cinnamon. The girls wore brown dresses with a cinnamon ribbon and the guys wore brown tuxes with cinnamon tuxes. The dads wore brown tuxes with brown vests and my husband wore a brown tux with an ivory vest. I loved the combination and received many compliments on everything!

I had been planning on having my fiance wear a chocolate tux (or suit, haven't decided yet) even though he's really against it. I think it would look great...I just don't like black suits/tuxes. (I know I'm weird.) But I just showed him that picture that konichiwa posted of the tan one and he's asking to wear it. I might have to lighten up on this one. He hasn't said no to any of my other wedding requests. :)
