Help Understand Posts

With so many online forums, we sometimes get sick of typing out full words and need to use the acronym to make our point quickly. But have you ever been looking at a string of letters in a person's post and sat there trying to figure out what the hell it was supposed to mean? I know I have! So to help everyone out, and maybe to get a few new ones to use, here is a list of common wedding forum acronym meanings. It's a really good list! But I will add a couple that should be on there and anyone else can add on if they see something missing...

yeah the two I could not for the life of me figure out before were DH and AW...I knew from the sentences that DH was referring to someone's husband but I couldn't figure out what the D was for so it was driving me nuts! And when someone prefaces a post with AW I thought it meant "After Wedding" but then the post wasn't always about something after the wedding! Haha! And you don't want to ask and sound as clueless as you feel. So I was happy to find this list!

I saved that page to my favorites. Besides people related acronyms (MOH, FMIL, PP) and ones commonly used on the internet (omg, lol) I normally have no idea what people are talking about. This will be a big help ^^ Thanks for posting it!

yea, i would see people posting "FI" and tried to figure out what it stood for...i read the context clues and figured it was like future husband or FH, lol..now i know it means fiance... Thanks!

OMG!! So, I have seen a ton of posts ending in "TIA". I thought Tia was a person who had a lot to say!! I'm a doofus!! Thanks for the info!!
