Help! No ceremony!
We have no idea what our ceremony's going to be. He's formerly from the LDS church, but their ceremony is top secret for active members only. I was raised experiencing multiple religions, but I'm not a member of anything now, and don't really know where to pull from. I've heard of unity candles and colored sand, but I don't particularly like those ideas and I have no clue what were going to do! (And he's not even thinking about it...)

I organized and wrote our ceremony since a friend did ours. I can send you the template if you like, as a starting point.
There are lots of things available, if you google "wedding ceremony template".

Just get a wedding officiant. There are tons of them out there who are non-denominational and will do anything you want. Once you find someone you like they can give you lots of ideas. It sounds like you're wanting to make the ceremony a little longer but don't like the idea of sand or candle? You could have someone sing, play an instrument, do a reading. Or just have a short ceremony with none of the fuss.

I suggest finding a wedding officiant first. You can find officiants that perform non-dimensional ceremonies. They should be able to help you in writing the ceremony. Our wedding officiant gave us a template and examples of readings and vows that we can select. We can also incorporate any reading that we want or write are own.

My first husband and I had the Stake President marry us outside so it had the LDS wording, but wasn't a sealed marriage in the temple

A template's a great idea! His bishop will be officiating, but he's on the other side of the country, so we won't be able to talk much. I've seen the bishop do his brother's wedding though. Pretty simple, not personalized. :(

We are having a thing about not wanting anything religious in our ceremony because we are not religious people. We jsut want the ceremony to be about love. If you can follow that ideal of marriage being about love in a ceremony script, you're gravy!

I am having my bishop of my ward (LDS Religion) marry us. He has to only read one part that is necessary but everything else is how we want it. I looked at officiants first but was not in the budget for it so asked Bishop and they will do it at no charge.
