Going to Hollywood baby!!

OK so we're going to L.A. for our honeymoon, I am so psyched! Now I am looking for all the "hotspots". My FH husband and I aren't really into going to clubs or anything; I was looking more for places where I would see some actors/actresses. Also just any place exciting to see and/or do. Have any?? :o)

I don't know anything about it but I do recommend you check out www.tripadvisor.com
It's amazing how much detail you can find out about any city and you get lots of reviews from travelers on every aspect. There are also discussion boards where people that have been there give you lots of advice. I've been on it all the time checking out our honeymoon area. People even post their photos and videos of the hotels and stuff so you can look up exactly where you're staying and see what it'll be like! Have fun and congrats on getting a great honeymoon!

OMG!!! You MUST go to Graumans Chinese theater. They have one theater that has VIP seating. They are basically large black leather love seats. They are in the back of the theater and are 100% private. My FH and I went and got tickets. They are only $20 or so each but was worth EVERY penny. We ot to go to the VIP bar before. So we sat at the theater in the private VIP area. got dribks. They came to our seats and got us anything we wanted (we had to pay for the stuff). And they told us its THE best way to see celebs. They come and sometimes buy out the VIP section so they dont have to sit with the riff raff below. It was Hilite of the trip!

It's awesome to read about couples going to L.A. for the first time. I was born and raised in the "City of Angels" and there still are places that I haven't seen or done. I would recommend you walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and see all the glam on Hollywood Blvd. Also, take the tour of the homes of the stars, go to Universal Studios, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm and please take a short trip to Venice Beach. Congratulations and have fun.

You have to do Rodeo Drive, darling. (smile) I also think that Disneyland is romantic, in a weird way, I don't know why. Rodeo is fun though, unlike any other place, good place to see stars too.

There is always something still magical about the Hollywood area, just be warned the glitz is surrounded by the seedy, so like any big city be aware of the surroundings, especially at night.
You never know who you might see,Like this evening Hollywood Blvd is shut down for a concert By Depeche Mode right in the middle of the road! Very cool!
I worked as a costumer before my wedding design days, and the hot spots are more in west LA. But for star sightings try The Ivy, Rodeo drive, The Beverly Whilshire district.
For funk and fun the Melrose/ Santa Monica shopping ares.
Santa Monica Pier. and for the Fellini esque, LOL, Venice beach on a weekend, OMG!
Drive into the OC and do Disneyland , fun for honeymooners, Knotts berry farm and The Rockin Main street of Surf City- My home town Huntington Beach! The week of your wedding may be the start of X games or the US open of surfing so even more fun!
Be safe and bring a camera!!
