Glasses or No Glasses
my FH and I both wear glasses, and most wedding pictures I see people are without glasses (Who normally do wear glasses like my dad who wore glasses before he had laysic, he didnt wear them at my parents wedding), I think glasses personally fit me and him perfectly, but i think it looks tacky, I don't know if i should or not

We both wear glasses, but for special occasions we put contacts on. My husband wears his glasses daily. I prefer contacts. Some people really look good in glasses. I am not one of them. Wear what you are most comforatble with and feel your best. That's my two cents;)

I wear glasses, and I will go sans glasses fo the wedding, my FH doesn't need them how ever. But I think with glasses on at weddings is distracting for people/ in pictures.

If you need glasses to see...you should probably wear them lol. I will wear contacts but if you don't have them or don't like them I would suggest wearing your glasses. Besides, any picture I've seen of a glass-wearing person who was not wearing their glasses for the photo, you could TELL they needed glasses.

Both my FH and I wear glasses but in almost all of our pics we were our contacts. The thing is,if youve never worn or rarely wear contacts I wouldnt be to sure as to have your wedding day to try them out. I would definitely try them out a week or so before the wedding so you get comfortable with them. Some peoples glasses help define thier sense of style and they look weird without them on. If you are one of those people then I'd suggest if its not broke why fix it.

Oh my god i'm so not a fan of myself in photos with glasses on... i dont wear contacts though either so this is a really good question! lol shoot.. i'm glad you thought of it :)

I am always taking my glasses off for pictures and its annoying because I'll poss, like in my profile pic on here and you'll usually see my glasses in my hand..I really dont want my wedding pictures to be like that.. I guess i could go and get like 1 pair of disposables and go for contact-putting-in lessons at my optometrist a month or so before the wedding so i can get used to them.

I'll have to check into it.

As April says, just do what makes you comfortable. If you decide not to wear your glasses, just make sure you are not squinting in your pics! Lol.

Do whatever you are most comfortable doing...I wear glasses all the time, but I will be wearing my contacts on my wedding day. My FH does not wear glasses and he prefers me without them. I would just recommend that if you end up wearing contacts to make sure your eyes are used to it. I would not recommend going without any glasses or contacts as other posters pointed out, you might be squinting and I don't know about you, but when I don't have my glasses on for awhile, I tend to get severe headaches..If both you and FH feel different without your glasses, wear them! Most photographers should be able to make sure your pics come out without glare issues.

i never wore contacts before so I'm a little nervous about using them. My fiance on the other hand has better eyesight than me lol. I think since were married in the courts, it shouldn't matter though I'm still getting married in a white dress, and I am wearing a wedding dress to my after party.

My fh and I need glasses. He 75% of the time wears contacts and glasses at home. I, like my picture wear glasses and everyday wear them more and more. For my wedding I will be wearing contacts though. I wore them first before glasses and it took me literally like 20mins to put them in. It's just for one day so i'll suffer...lol So do what your comfortable in.

I too am a glasses person, as is FH. He will wear his on the day- but for the most part I will wear contacts. I do wear my glasses everyday in regular life, and love them- I go for very bold statements with them in general!!! So, what one of my friends suggested was to do MOST of the formal photos with contacts, and then just pop glasses on for a few- (Yes, over the contacts- ick) so that I can look back and identify the photos as "ME" if you know what I mean. I love the way I look in them- and the contrast with the wedding dress will be intriguing I think!

I wear glasses but think my pictures look better without them so my eyes can be more noticeable. Glasses has a tendency to hide my eyes. FH wears glasses too but he can also go with out them. I would look at a couple of pictures without the glasses and then with the glasses to see which you feel more comfortable in.
