So tell me what you think... The eyes are different one is more dramatic than the other. I'm not sure which I like better.

I think I would go with the darker, more dramatic one. The other one has too bright of a purple. You want your makeup to make you look your best, and the brighter one simply draws your eye to the purple itself, instead of to you.

i think the lighter one the less dramatic. the more dramatic seems to me like it darkens your eyes to much and could end up looking like you have black eyes. just my personal opinion

I like the darker one as well and i agree with the FutureMrsMcCown that I am more drawn to looking at the bright purple color than you yourself.

I agree with Wendy. The lighter side is gorgeous. The darker side is too dark- I couldn't even tell it was purple, it just looks black :-/

At first I liked the darker one better because it's more dramatic. But then after looking at the pictures I feel like the darker one makes my eyes look smaller and not as blue?

Out of the two, I like the dark best but I am a little worried it might look too dark in the photos after a few hours. Are you really set on using purple? I feel like a different look might flatter you more.

Ms. L. I just said that to my girlfriend! I said I don't know if purple is the right color for me. My eyes are blue and I feel like you can't even tell that they are blue with teh purple.

The lighter purple looks beautiful on you. they both do but I'd vote for the lighter one. It's very soft and very pretty!

I also feel like I need a little more of a lip. I think it looks like just clear gloss and I want more of a nude lip?

Yeah, try a couple different looks, here's some dramatic eye makeup with some purplish tones.

i think its really hard to tell b/c of the lighting. ...if you're having a low-light ceremony and reception I'd lean toward lighter colors. But if its going to be daylight/ bright - then roll w/ whatever you'd like. Its just really difficult to say on either w/ the lighting in the pics...

I'm not sure I like purple on you. No harsh feelings. What about an olive green?

I think your face is too pretty for the harsh purple shadow. You have gorgeous eyes and the purple is kind of overshadowing that feature and making your eyes look smaller. Try one of the variations in the pics that Mrs. L posted. Those would look fantastic on you.

I agree with Ms. L. I think the purples that were chosen were way too harsh. Your eyes are so gorgeous so the color chosen for your eye should complement the eyes. Laura Mercier has a soft purple color with gold specks in it and it is beautiful. Ask your mua to tone it down a little and come up with a look that will have you flawlessly gorgeous on your big day. Let me know if you need any more help with this. I'm all ears!!

I think that the lighter purple is coming up to far on your lid and that's why it doesn't look as good. I think the way Rhianna's eyes are done in the pic Ms L posted would look really good on you...with the darkest color in the crease (but not too thick) and a lighter color on the lid and lightest color just under the brow. IMO that's what looks the best when your eyebrows are high like yours are.
