Has anyone bought any wedding items from them, if so, what was your experience? I've seen some really cute things that I want to purchase, but I am unsure. Thanks in Advance!

I sell items on Etsy. I started my business on Etsy because of my personal experiences with different stores. There are a TON of talented men & women on Etsy. One thing that I LOVE about Etsy, if you can't find something that you are looking for in the price range you would like to pay... there is a section called "Alchemy" where you post what you are looking for and have other people bid on the item.

I bought some pins for my hair and a small handbag to match my dress. I had no problems and it all arrived on time. The merchandise was really nice. It is a great site.

I kept hearing how great the site was, from another wedding site. Are there certain sellers I should watch out for? And if something does go wrong, how is it handled?

Watch their feedback. Its the best way to tell whether a seller is reliable or not. If there is a bad review, pay attention to the total amount of reviews because there are some people in this world that you just will never be able to make happy. :)

My first experience with ETSY.com was great. I purchased a box to hold our wedding rings. It was not under the wedding section but under wood working. The vender was more than willing to customize the box to our colors. She even put our names and wedding date on it. They were great to work with. Based on my experience, I would highly recomend ETSY.COM. I probably will purchase more items for the wedding.

One of my customers told me about etsy, so I've started listing a few random items there. In a way, etsy is like ebay; Some sellers are awesome, some sellers are not. But, I'm finding that sellers are friendlier in general, and that sellers are in general more reliable, than what you might find on ebay. I am relatively new to etsy, so I don't have any idea how conflicts are handled... you (and I) can probably check out their policies/help section for more information.

I custom ordered my jewelry from livelovebead, my red garter from ElegantGarterShop, my Hand Stamped Blue Bridal Boquet Locket from BragAboutIt and my cake topper from SheaChicDesigns. I had excellent experiences with all the vendors and I would purchase from etsy again in the future.

I custom ordered my veil, should be receiving it this week. And also my necklace from Royal Princess! I can't wait to get them both.

I bought my jewelry from lizardibridal (Roxy Jewelry). Great experience, she custom made it for me. No problems at all, great service.

It's very similar to eBay (if you are familiar with it). I've bought my fiance's gift (a pen) and some vintage beads (that I made my jewelry with). Both times I had really positive experiences.

I have a friend on etsy who makes custom handbags using vintage fabrics and trims - she loves it. Her photos are really nice but the finished product amazed me when I saw them in person.
I set up an account with them but haven't had the time to get it up and running - yet
