Complete surprise

Soooo, The last few days I have been working out like crazy because I weighed myself and found that I gained 5 pounds. I have been so tired. But yesterday I got dizzy while shopping. I told FH who joked about me being preggers. I told him that it's not possible because I am on birth control. Well, I just took a at home pregnancy test and guess what? It's positive. Went out and bought two more. This creates a whole new set of circumstances. I'm happy. Very happy but this was a complete surprise. Now to find a way to tell FH. And see what this means for my dress. The baby will be here before the wedding but babies change bodies.

Congrats!! That is so awsome. we have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months with no luck. I am very happy for you. I think you should tell him over a nice dinner. I am sure that you will find a great dress

Thanks everyone for the congrats. I told FH and he's happy. He's excited. We're going to wait awhile before we tell my family. However, my heart is breaking for him because he's hurting right now too. His mom past away last year and she was his best friend and until me was his only family. He wishes she could have been around to see her grandchild. He's still in the fresh stages of grieving and I wish I could make it better.

If you are so good about working out like that, I think that you could pull it off and loose the weight. Just remember you are not really eating for two. You are eating for you and something who weighs less than 8lbs hopefully... LOL. Also, CONGRATS! We are hoping to get pregnant right after we return from our honeymoon. We are ready. That is great for you!!!!

Congrats! I think you remember what Duncan said, you're eating for you and possibly a 7 lb baby, not 2 grown ups! You should do great, plus your active now, stay active through out your pregnany and after, you will fit that dress!

OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! My prayers are with you FH with the loss of his mom. No words can really be enough to share in that grief. However, Im sure the impending birth of the life you two created will be a light in his life and help him to heal.

a june or july baby? gives you plenty of time to get to prebaby weight! and omg! congrats! i had a feeling when i saw the thread name, what it'd be! i'm sure fh is still grieving, but maybe the idea of a new baby will help ease the grief...so what are you hoping for? boy or girl?!!!

I totally understand everything about your FH's grieving. My FI's mom died in March on her birthday. He has been a trooper trying not to let it spoil my happiness about the wedding. We are 39 days away from our wedding and he has been doing ok. I think he may break down at the wedding or if we get pregnant anytime soon. I know how much he misses her and it breaks my heart. He comes from a very big family but they are missing the glue that kept them together. I hope that everything works out for you. congrats on the baby. The only advice I can give you is be there for him and be excited about the future!
