Centerpiece...

The colors of my wedding is Chocolate Brown and candy apple red. My idea of our centerpices would be large vases filled with Red apples and Brown stones/Marbles/or something cute and brown thru out filled with water... My question is with the apple Idea do you think I can pull off having real apples and if so what to do with them afterwards? Or should I go with fake apples?

Why don't you go to a craft store and see what the fake ones look like? I think if they look real, no one is going to be able to tell. If you decide to go with real ones, don't get them until a few days before the wedding so that they don't spoil.
I would stick to fake ones if you can find some that look good just to save yourself the hassle.

My friend did something similar. She put red roses intertwined in the apples inside a large glass stem bowl. They were GORGEOUS! She used real apples. I say if you go with fake ones allow your guests to take the centerpieces home as I am sure it would be a great decorative piece in the fall.

That sounds really pretty! I would go with real apples because they are true to color and cost effective. The fake apples cost anywhere from $.75 ea and up. If you have to, throw the apples away after or rinse them really good and eat them or give them away.

Do you want to have a fresh flowers in the centerpeices? If you do - I have tons of ideas as to things that you could do. And can I add a tiny suggestion? Try adding some green into the mix - like an apple or sage green. One of my all time favorite color combos is red, brown and green (or teal if you want to be really bold). It's fresh and new and exciting, yet still elegant.

Another idea you could use for the brown color is talk to your florist about "monkey tail" (not sure about the proper floral name). It is a chocolate brown stem that has a curl at the end and if done right can be twirled into a heart shape. It is so cute and unique! I had a bride use it in her head table centerpiece and her bouqet and she got tons of compliments.

Monkey tail aka Fern Curls are a favorite of mine, but they will snap if you're not careful.
If you want to forego flowers altogether, try coffee beans. If you surround a candle with coffee beans, then you could have guests take them home & use them, Alternate the coffee ones with lady apples (small ones) in a tall vase (skip the water -its unnecessary)

congrats! well, i think a tall glass vase filled w/ real water & apples would b perfect. after the reception, u can make a raffle announcement 4 1 person @ each tbl. 2 b able 2 take the cnterpc. home. the brown marbles would b ok 4 the bottom of the vase. or u can do a tall glass vase filled w/ real water, 1 round medium sized brown floating cndl @ top & 1 stemmed red rose w/ brown marbles @ bottom. wrap the bottom of the vase w/ red & brown ribbon. 4 ur favors, have brown ceramic paper wrapped w/ a fresh red candy apple & tied w/ a red ribbon & a personalized note w/ it 4rm ur FH & u! hope this works 4 u. if u need n e more ideas, let me no wat ur theme is...

I am just getting a chance to read all of my post! Thank you all I Nieshia that sounds really nice and kind of what I had in mind. If you dont mind I think I may actually take that idea and run with it. I really love the single rose idea because I am going to carry a single red rose when I walk in symbolizing my dad! So that aspect has just really touched me and I love it!
