Red roses are always elegant, that would bring in the red. You could do something simple and just get a glass vase, wrap ivory ribbon around the top with the roses in the vase. Then have something silver for accenting the flowers, like those silver curvy sticks they sell at Michaels. Or you could actually do something with apples for your centerpieces. Like this (but with red...) http://images1.snapfish.com/346:79;67fp345>nu=3283>;;8>356>WSNRCG=3233738:87548nu0mrj

Here's a thought - Christmas is around the corner and there will tons of sales on red and silver Christmas ornaments. If you buy the plastic ones and gently saw off the stem portion of the ornament you can do all sorts of things. You could fill clear glass vases with the red and silver balls and fill with water and flowers or you can drill a hole on the other side of the ball and thread a wire through them and make sculptural pieces or they can be stacked into cool shapes, with the help of hot glue. You could get the paper mache initials that cost about 3 dollars at a craft store, cover it with fabric or paint and you can use the red and silver balls to create a stand to hold the initials. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hi, Congrats! What type of venue are you using? Do they already have pretty much everything in place or is it a venue you will be doing from start to finish. Is it formal or a more casual affair? One idea is to take 3 cylindar vase in different sizes and put glass gems in the bottom, now take a flower that you love it can be real or silk (if silk check to see if it runs color through the water) Set the vases on a mirror and surround with votives, looks very elegant. You can also use a different flower in each set, this helps bring all of your colors in and can serve as your table names for seating such as...Rose, tulip, Daisy, iris you get the idea. You need to remember to weight each one into the gems...you can use small fishing weights. Keeps the flowers under the water. You can also add a flora-light into each one. Good luck!

We had Real Ivy Topiaries with Fresh Roses, we used them to line the ceremony aisle and then were transfer to the reception as centerpieces. At the end of the reception, guest took them home as wedding favors.
