I'm doing a candy buffet for my wedding next sat. I ordered a lot of my candy of candywarehouse.com. They have a huge selection and shipping was really quick, espically for Alaska!. You just need to find the jars, and then I have been reading around that a rule of thumb is to have 8oz of candy per guest. The price can add up very quickly if your having a big wedding. But I'm having about 150 people, I ordered about 50 pounds of candy with some cute candy bags with a design and my wedding date on them for my favors. Its very fun, you can decorate any way you want.Just look up candy buffet on the web and the search is endless. hope this helps

At my BF's wedding last year she had a candy table with a somewhat large variety of candies to coordinate with her wedding colors (yellow). It was actually a big hit. She used different shapes/sizes of candy bowls and little mesh bags with a draw string to put the candy in. From what I saw, everyone really enjoyed it. She did not have any favors, but no one really seemed to notice.

Yes! Candy tables are definitely a hit! Especially with the kids! Its like they've arrived and walked into Willy Wonka's chocolate Factory.

As far as a suggestion for favors....People love picture frames!

Good luck with all your planning!

I think that candy tables are a great crowd pleaser and an excellent idea for favors. I think that using chinese paper boxes would be a really cute idea. You could even put a personalized ribbon on them.

I've seen the boxes at Michael's but I would also look on the web for them.

Good Luck!
