Auba in October?
Has anyone ever honeymooned in Aruba in October? Where did you stay and what was there to do? Any nature waterfalls?

Romantic Destination Weddings & Honeymoons

Hi Sunflower,
Congratulations! I have only sent a couple honeymooners to Aruba...the price of the air fare is always an issue so most went with a luxury All Inclusive in Mexico and recieved so much more for the money than they would have in Aruba. But the 2 I've sent stayed at the Occidental Grand and the Divi...
The weather in October is fantastic, the only off season is Jan and Feb as it is only a few degrees cooler than the rest of the year. You don't have to worry about hurricanes and they only get about 20 inches of rain a year so you are almost guaranteed a perfect honeymoon. If you would like email me your dates and preferences and I'll get you some quotes.
Whether you go with Aruba or somewhere else I know you will have a wonderful honeymoon.
Email or call anytime.

I already have a travel agent that I booked with, I was just trying to find out more information. How much does the air fare normally run for there anyway?

I have been to Aruba in July. I’m not sure how it is in October but I believe it is beautiful all year. I stayed at the Hyatt. Highly recommend the hotel. Absolutely gorgeous and great service. I did not come across any waterfalls. I recommend the jeep tour. You take a tour of the entire island in jeeps (island is too large.) The sunset sail was great. I highly recommend El Guacho for dinner. It is a steak restaurant and reasonable for what you get. It is very popular so make reservations as soon as you get there. Have fun.

We went on a cruise for our honeymoon October 4-11. One of our stops was Aruba. We only went to the beach that day, but man was it HOT! I live in Texas, but wow Aruba was hot that day. But it was BEAUTIFUL! The water was just gorgeous. I would definitely go there for a honeymoon.

I read that Aruba is supposed to be nice all year, but from my understanding, October is also hurricane month.

As Potters said it is HOT....it is a dry heat not humid. There is a breeze off the ocean. Most of the island is a desert...there is probably no waterfalls. The snorkling is great. I felt safe enough to go into town and go shopping. It is a place that you do not need to stay on the resort for safety concerns. As all places, you still need to be careful and be aware of your surroundings.

Hey I just honeymooned in Aruba from October 14-22 It was consistently in the 90's. It rained one day but it was refreshing. Percipitation there is pretty low. We stayed at Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort! Loved it! Its an eco friendly resport and really clean. They clean your room twice a day if you allow them to. Its in the low rise section which is less crowed and more peacful than the high rise section. Only 15 minutes away though. I Believe there is a waterfall/natural pool but on the opposite side of the island from most of the hotels. However since Aruba is small it shouldnt be longer than 40 minutes. The beach is really what most people love! So water sports are popular. Really good for snorkeling! Beautiful sunsets as well... We mostly ate and relaxed. We did visit some casinos and butterfly farm. You can horseback or dirt bike ride but most people there go to relax and and play water sports. The food was ok. Be prepared to spend at least 30 per person for any reccomendend places

Since im on a roll...My favorite restaurants were El Gaucho (Steaks), Wacky Wahoo (Seafood), Madam Jeanette (Comfort food), Marindi (Very romantic) and The old fisherman (local aruban food). People rave about the flying fish bone but for the 30 dollar cab ride each way and 30 per plate...I expected much more. Our food didnt have much flavor but you do get to eat on the water if you like and have water brush your feet.
