Bay Style Events and specifically Ocea was a fantastic choice for our day of coordination! Ocea not only responded to our inquiry very quickly, but also was willing to meet us in-person when we came to SF from out of town to discuss her services, our wedding concept, and establish an initial relationship. Throughout planning, Ocea kept in great communication with us and really hashed out any details that needed to be handled for day of services. Closer to the wedding, she worked very closely with me to make sure everything was in order, requested specific info from me so that she could handle all aspects of my wedding, and managed all my vendors. This was a huge relief to know our special day was in the hands of someone extremely patient, organized, and thoughtful. Moreover, the day before the wedding, Ocea met with us at our hotel to finalize everything, discuss any changes, and conduct the rehearsal. I can't speak highly enough of her ability to focus on the micro and macro levels of a wedding as well as control so many people and different personalities with such poise! On the day of the wedding, it was a Godsend to have her. She was with us every step of the way from the morning to the end of the evening to make sure all of our vendors were doing things properly, wedding items were at the correct location on time, and setup was correct. She was so kind to everyone and exhibited the utmost professionalism as well...even when some of our bridal party members got stressed out and/or started to get a bit demanding (I'm sure this happens a lot). In fact, she handled it so well that myself and my (now) husband didn't even know about any of issues that occurred because she handled them perfectly/quietly and made sure our day was all about us and our happiness while still being on schedule as much as possible. I highly recommend hiring Ocea for your wedding...you will not be disappointed and can relax knowing your wedding is in the best of hands! Thank you again!

We hired Bay Style Events to help us plan and to act as day-of coordinator for our low-key, rustic, picnic wedding in the redwoods. Ocea was essential to the day going off without a hitch. It was perfect. Let me tell you that even a low-key event requires a lot of work when it is for 115 people. Ocea and her assistant (Mike, I think) were fantastic. I never had to worry about a thing. Ocea has a warm and fun personality. She additionally exudes a calm confidence, which was very helpful when my nerves started to act up about whether or not there'd be decent weather for our outdoor event! She coordinated rentals, food, drink, cleanup, and the succession of events seamlessly. Highly recommended!!

I am one of those people who have been planning my wedding since I was a small child, and I assumed that I would know what I was doing. I love party planning, and this after all is just a big party. That didn't turn out to be true. Planning a wedding is a huge, coordinated undertaking, and you as the bride are not only the brain of the operation, but you are the talent, the entire show. There are details upon details, and truth be told if this is your first wedding you are going to make mistakes. That is why it's smart to bring in someone who isn't on their first wedding. Hiring Ocea was the best decision I made in the whole process. She helped to spot costly mistakes leading up to the event, such as a shuttle it turned out no one planned to use, and was indispensable on the day of. As the bride, I went into seclusion to have my hair and makeup done three hours before the event. This would have been terrifying if I didn't have reliable help, someone who knew the event in and out and wasn't afraid to delegate. Highly recommend!!
