When should I send my wedding invitations out? ADVICE PLEASE!!!
My wedding is September 4, I am wondering when the wedding invitations should be sent out... exsp since its a long weekend. I sent save the dates back in January so most people know already and some have even booked their hotel. I was thinking the start of June. Is this too early??

the last part of June would be good. "THEY" say 12-8 weeks ahead of time.

I think the ladies above are right. Around July would be good---especially since you've already sent STD's out.

Industry standard & proper etiquette states 8 weeks ahead - so first part of July is good.

Experts suggest four months in advance if your wedding is on a long weekend/holiday weekend, as people often will make vacation plans for these weekends. Sending a save the date card is great, but if you have disorganized or forgetful guests they may have forgotten the date by now!

They say 6-8 weeks before, I'm personally sending mine at the end of this month or the beginning of June and I'm requesting a reply by July 31st to make sure I have the numbers for the caterer 2 weeks before the wedidng.

First of all, ADORABLE response card! Secondly, the general rule is 6-8 weeks like Angie said. Supposedly, they're suppose to respond at least 3 weeks before the date.

Late June/Early July - give yourself about 3 (maybe 4) weeks before as an RSVP date.

I sent my 8 weeks ahead and gave my guests 4 weeks to respond. I will have a couple of weeks to call those who did not RSVP before I need to give the guest count to my venue.

End of June, beginning of July and make sure you get your rsvps back by the beginning of August so you have plenty of time to plan.
