What is a good color theme for a fall wedding?
My plans right now are to be married Oct. 6, 2012. I was wondering what will be a good color theme for this time of year.

I'm getting married Oct 15, 2011 and have chosen black and white damask with fuschia as my colors...I've seen purple and black or orange and black. I've also seen brown and orange or orange and green..Go with what you want, the sky is the limit! Best of luck!

Traditionally, fall colors are used at this time of year. Orange, brown, red...etc. But, where are you getting married? Outdoors/indoors? Will it be hot/cold? What are your favorite colors? Any color you love can be translated into a fall wedding color. The only colors I would try to avoid would be pastels, simply because if you have any pics takes outside you will fade into the background with all the autumn colors around. Hope it helps, Mary Beth

Think leaves on trees for fall color scheme. You can't go wrong.

You choose whatever colors you would like. My wedding is in a church and the reception is indoors also. My favorite color is purple. I chose purple , lavender and white. Originally, I chose purple, lavendar and orange, but they did not look good together when I saw them in real life. I do not think you necessarily have to follow season colors. Follow whatever you want to choose. Afterall, it is your wedding and you should and have to be happy with your choice of colors. As Heidi P said above, go with what you want.

We selected four colors; Ivory, Amathyst, Aquamarine and Fuschia. We were undecided, so we decided to have them all.

We're basing our wedding on the colors of fall leaves, our main two colors are David's Bridal Wine and Cognac. Another fall theme that I've seen recently and love is chocolate brown and yellow, with sunflowers.

I love using warm, rich copper for a fall wedding. Copper crushed romance table linens will shine in a beautiful way. Crinkle taffeta fabrics are also nice for fall because they resemble tree bark but with some shine. Use punches of gold, red, or lime too.

I'm actually getting married in 12 days! Our fall wedding will be chocolate and burnt orange. The husband-to-be chose that one... I wanted purple and silver, but his colors totally worked out for fall =)
