Wedding Ceremony-Vows
My fiance and I are exchanging/giving our personal...feelings, thoughts...in addition to vows. What does the officiant say: Susan and Bob would like to exchange...Susan and Bob have special... I can't figure out what should be said. HELP. Basically, we are saying..
Bob, I marry you,
The one I cherish,
The one I admire,
The one who supports me,
The one who...
The one I love.
What would you call these? Not vows but...

How about, "Susan and Bob would like to exchange their declarations of love to one another at this time..." ?

"...express their devotion to each other..." I can't think of "the perfect thing", but I'll tell you what I would do. Open a Word document and type a word that sounds kind of what you're looking for... Shift F7....Thesaurus! I use it ALL the time when I get stumped! Hope that's helpful & good luck!

Our officiant said "Now, it is time to make some promises. Jason, please make your promises to Sarah...." "...Sarah please make your promises to Jason." We also wrote our own vows in the form of "I promise to yada, yada....."
