Congrat's on the engagement.

I usually use the 6-8 wk time frame from when your final numbers are due to your caterer.

The typical caterer/hotel asks for the final numbers 7-14 days in advance. So your event is on the 30th I would ask that all RSVP's be back to you by 5/16/09. Mail them out between the 1st & 6th of April 2009. HTH's.

I usually recommend that invitations are mailed out 2 months (or 8 weeks) prior to the wedding date, and that the response date is 1 month (or 4 weeks) prior to the wedding date.

With a wedding date of 5/30, your response date should be 4/30 and you should mail your invitations out by 3/30.

Happy planning!
