Ireland Wedding
My Fiance and I are getting married in his home town in Ireland next year. Any advice on locations or planning would be great. We would love to get married in a castle or outdoors to take in the beautiful scenary however in order for it to be legal and recognized it must be in a registrars office or in a catholic church. A church wedding is not ruled out however Im in the US and unable to travel back and forth all the time in order to complete the requirements of the church This is a first wedding for both of us and we are realy excited about it but have no idea where to begin....

Congratulations! I've been to County Clare, Ireland a couple of times and LOVE it. It's so beautiful and the people are very warm and welcoming. Where is your fiance's home town? Maybe you can do a legal wedding in the registrars office, then have your ceremony and reception where you wish.

I live just a short hop away from Ireland (in Germany) and would be absolutely delighted to add a wedding in Ireland to my portfolio. If you haven't decided on a photographer yet, please shoot me an email and I can give you a quote =)

You are so lucky. Ireland is absolutley gorgeous. I have been to Killarney and their was an amazing church there and of course the grounds at Blarney Castle are also amazing or the cliffs of more.

good luck and have fun

When shot a destination wedding in County Clare Ireland...our couple legally got married in the US, but they had a priest do a traditional Irish blessing in front of 20 friends/family in a castle with a roaring fire behind them. So beautiful and romantic. Let me know if you want info on the castle, reception venue (doolin) or if you want to see photos of our days with them.
