I think it's perfectly fine for a woman to ask her man to marry her. It is just as romantic and very unique as not many women take that road. Go for it!

ABSOLUTELY!!! I would go for it! If you are in love, then that is what is important. I asked my husband, and we have been happily married for 9 years...and counting!

I believe that it is definitely fine for a woman to ask a man to marry her. I feel that marriage is an affirmation of a couple's love for each other in a strong equal relationship. If each person is truely equal, why can't the woman ask the man? My wife asked me, and that was 18 wonderfully happy years ago.

GO FOR IT!!!!! I asked my fiance to marry me, and have never regretted it for a moment. Sure, it's tradition that you wait around until he pops the question, down on one knee with a big diamond ring and all that, but in a society that is increasingly diverse and equality between genders is getting better, why sit around and wait when you can do the asking? Love is love and getting engaged is getting engaged, no matter how you go about actually getting engaged.
