ALL brides, PLEEZ help!
is it not so wedding etiquette 2 hav a small casino themed station @ our wedding (our hm. backyard)? will it b ghetto 2 hav a limbo game as part of our reception, like after a dance, the dj can announce the game & nvite whomever 2 the dance floor 4 MORE fun? I was thinking of doing that & adding other fun things 2 our reception like a soul train line, but the not usual,..1 that has the bride & her maids & the groom w/ his groomsmen. & nstead of having a 1rst dance, me, my FH, & our kids can make up a dance routine 2 make things more fun & modern 4 the lil' guests as well? our theme is vintage/vineyard so @ the entrance, we r going 2 hav a vintage photo booth where there is a backdrop 4 the background w/a tbl. of vintage items (costumes) like hats, lace, cigars, lrg. neck pearls,ect..& the photographer will b doing this 2 add 2 our wedding album 4 creative memories. wat do u ladiez think?

Hi, it sounds as if you want to have a very interactive wedding reception and one where all of your guests will have a choice in what they want to particpate in while at the reception. I like that you have chosen a particular design style "Vintage Vineyard" and I believe if you stick with that theme throughout your wedding everything will be cohesive and have a huge impact on your guests. You have personalized your wedding and go with your gut feeling in what feels right for you and your groom. Remember: stick with what your concept is: Vintage Vineyard and you will not go wrong. Good Luck!! Very classy!!!

From my perspective at least, it would make for some fun pictures. :) Honestly I'd say go for it. If you want to entertain your guests, do it. I wish some of the weddings I have been to on a personal basis would have done some of those things. Sounds like fun!

Go for it. If it brings joy to your day, go for it. I'm planning on having Dance Dance Revolution and Karaoke as part of my reception. :)

Weddings are a happy occasion and a time to celebrate. If you want to be up on all the latest games and party dances google Bar Mitzvah sites or call a local dj who specializes in them for more ideas. Watch you tube "the Jerk" videos (new craze) and the kids can teach the old folks how to do it which would be fun(ny)! Dance, laugh, play, enjoy....

Sounds like a fun-loving time. Life needs to be taken less serious, although marriage is a serious union. Laughter is the best medicine for every event! I love it.

Go for it! Who said weddings and receptions have to be traditional. Any time one of my clients has an idea for their wedding ceremony and wants to do something out of the box . . . I tell them as long as it is not illegal or immoral then do exactly as they wish with my blessings!
