What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
Three cameras, two cameras, or one. You request it and we make it happen. We do it all. If you want the unedited footage, just let us know and we'll add it to your package.
Describe any special editing services you offer:
We offer non-linear editing with minimum, tasteful and elegant effects.
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
We prefer not to use bright lights and use a lot of natural lighting in our shots as we don't want to ruin your special moments by shining a light in your eyes. If needed, we'll use only an on-camera light that is 10-20 watts with a diffused softbox to make sure you look your best. We also don't want your guests squinting on your video. We do have lighting packages for other types of shoots, such as interviews in our studio.
How many videographers do you work with?
We have a team of videographers who work for us. We can provide you with one, two, or three videographers for your event.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
We accomodate our brides. If the bride wants to meet with us, we will meet with them at our office or we will come to them. About 80 percent of our brides book us online without us ever meeting. They love our style. They know what they want and that's just fine too.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
If the bride requests the presence of a particular videographer, we make sure that videographer is the one who will be shooting your wedding.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We prefer to shoot only one wedding a day in order to give our couples our full and dedicated attention on their day. We do schedule more than one wedding in a weekend.
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?
Absolutely. We have a network of videographers who we use regularly as staff and are on-call in-case of an emergency - but it hasn't happenned yet!
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
All of our equipment is contained in two rolling cases. One case contains our cameras and filters and the other contains stabalizing devices such as a small tripod, etc.
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, we have back-up cameras, back-up microphones, back-up batteries and back-up camera lights, tons of digital/HD tapes, a repair kit, a first aid kit, and a bridal emergency kit.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Usually we'll have only one break and that is just to have dinner. Some weddings that we shoot are 15 hours long, if this is the case then we will take a break when there is nothing to shoot. We only take a break when one there is down time. We don't want to miss a thing!
Do you charge overtime?
Your agreement with us will be for up to 8 hours. In your agreement, it will state that if your event runs longer, we will approach you and ask you if you want us to stay for a fee. You will NEVER have any surprise charges with us.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
Yes, the raw footage is included with our HD package and is available for purchase if not included with your package.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for promotions, contents, etc.?
Yes, unless you request that we do not. This change can be made right on the agreement.
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
Editing a wedding is very time consuming. Since most of our brides don't have hours upon hours available to sit with us, we give our brides a six-page Event Information Sheet to complete to assist us with the editing process and to help us to get to know the couple better. Since we can spend up to 200 hours editing the footage, it's not practical for the bride to be involved in the entire editing process. Our brides hire us because they love our editing style and they realize that we are experts at what we do; however it is the couple's wedding and we are here to please them. We do allow brides a chance to request changes within two weeks of receiving the final product at no extra charge.
We do charge a sitting-fee if the bride wants to sit with us at the final stages of the editing process.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
Every wedding we produce is unique and not one is a cookie-cutter process. We take pride in our artistic process and use the same editing techniques as Hollywood movie editors. We provide a link to an Editing Queue on our website so that you will always know where your wedding is in our editing process.
