How many photographers do you work with?
Two at all times. If the client has opted not to have the secondary there will always been an assistant with me, sometimes two!

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes it will be me, unless I'm on my deathbed or physically unable to make it. Either way my partner Tara who has 8yrs of wedding experience will be there! :D

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
NO! I only book one wedding a day and I'm reluctant to even book a Sat & Sun wedding. We bust hump at the events and it's not fair to another client for us to be tired at their event

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Whatever is necessary to capture the event in full

Yes

Full Day. Hourly rates are taken into consideration for vow renewals and small events that only require one photographer for 2-4 hours.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
My regular hourly rate

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
One, maybe two if I drink a lot of water :D

Do you charge for travel?
Yes

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
2-4 weeks

In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Online proofing via my client viewing site

How long can the client keep the proofs?
90 days

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes

No but they are available for purchase

Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, and an online slideshow will be given to the couple from both their Engagement session and Wedding

What kind of albums do you offer?
A variety

When will the client get the final album?
Depends on how quickly the client responds with favorite photos and how quickly they make revision decisions.

Tips and Advice
The best tip I can give anyone searching for a photographer is to make sure you like the person that is going to take your photos!!! Getting along well with the photographer is key, at least I think... If you do the consultation and you do not feel comfortable with the person, their personality or what they can offer you then don't book them. I don't know about other photographers but I'd much rather have a client go with another photographer for her day than be disappointed in my work. That's really the best tip I can think of.  I do a lot to get to know my clients before their big day, my slogan is "The Natural Choice" and there is a reason for that. I want you to feel like I'm just one of the girls....
