Frequently Asked Questions for Videography
What primary style do you identify with?
Cinematic, Documentary, Storytelling

What formats can the final video be in?
Blu-Ray, DVD

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes

Are you a commercial studio or a home-based business?
We're located in Somerset, NJ in a lovely office Building on the same road as several hotels and The Palace at Somerset Park. The Imperia is also nearby.

Do you offer demo DVDs for potential clients to look at?
There are plenty of great samples on our website, plus links to more on our BLOG and YOUTUBE pages, but full samples are available to view at our office, so set up an appointment soon.

What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
We can start with 1 or 2 camera unedited coverage of your day and then we can produce a cinematic edit of your day featuring music, live audio, some great effects, a fun highlights/recap and credits with fun outtakes. We also offer a bunch of fun extras.

Describe any special editing services you offer:
We offer a range of fun extras. You can have a Digital Short (a short film starring you and your fiance), Same-Day-Edit (shown at reception), Video Projection on our huge 80" screen, Growing Up photomontage, Honeymoon photomontage, a Confession Cam, or upgrade your edit to a "Storyteller" Edit. Contact us for details on any of these extras.

Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
Most of your day is filmed with natural lighting, our cameras are great in lowlight. However reception halls are often dimly lit, so we use some great on camera lights that provide just the right amount of light without blinding your guests. Most people tell us they don't remember us being there, which is great. I've seen other videographers use waaay brighter more annoying lights. I look at them like "Why?"

Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?
We're a small crew of 5 videographers total. While most weddings are just 1 or 2, it's good to have backup.

Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
We take great care of our equipment, because we can't have it malfunction, but we ALWAYS have backup equipment available at your wedding in case of an emergency. Better to be safe than sorry :)

Do you give access to your raw footage?
Raw "unedited" footage is included with every package on DVD. Our clients love it. We definitely have a film-like style of shooting.

Additional Questions and Answers

Tips and Advice
-After reserving your reception hall shop for important "lasting" items like videography and photography first.  Everything else is done at the end of the night, but your video and photos will last you generations.

-Do your research!!!  Read reviews from past clients, see plenty of samples (meet with the company to view a complete samples - not everything is online), compare packages, and ask plenty of questions. Google the company and the owner/shooter to find out more about them. Do they offer the packages and coverage you need? Any fun extras you're interested in?

-Shop based on quality and you’ll be a lot happier with the final product and you'll get more for your money.  Affordability is more than being in your price range, it’s what you get for your money.  Simply put, if you think a great videographer isn't worth it, try hiring a bad one.  Your video and photos, just like your spouse, will be with you for the rest of your life, so be sure to choose wisely.  You get what you pay for, but with Creative Unlimited, you always get so much more.

On your Wedding day:

-A week before your wedding confirm your date, times, and all the details necessary with each of your vendors and your ceremony officiant to ensure everything goes smoothly on your day.

-Have contact numbers (Cell#s if possible) for all your vendors so you can contact them in case of an emergency on your wedding day. Provide your vendors with an alternate number, such as for a bridesmaid or groomsmen, should they need to contact you on your day.

- Start your hair and makeup earlier than they say you need to, because they always take longer, and you'll suddenly be very behind schedule and rushing. Better to be ready early than late, even if we can't start the wedding without you ;)

-Hair Spray in your wedding shoes keeps your feet from sliding. Also be sure to scuff up the bottom to avoid slipping.

-Your day goes by quick so enjoy it, dance, have fun, laugh, treasure these moments, and allow us to capture them for you so you can really remember them years from now.

Don't hesitate to contact us at 732-271-9191 with any questions and for more information on our services.  Thanks.
