Do you have liability insurance?
No
Are you a commercial studio or a home-based business?
Home-based business
What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
Footage is captured with multiple cameras then storyboarded on video editing software. I do not believe in special effects or Hollywood style videos because that takes away from the primary focus - the Bride & Groom's event.
Describe any special editing services you offer:
Video retrospective included with all videos. Also can include baby/dating pictures, picture montages of the wedding day or honeymoon pictures also.
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
Back lighting equipment with camera, but no external extra lighting. If an event is low-lit or candle-lit, I will speak with the couple to ensure they understand the pros and cons of that environment.
How many videographers do you work with?
Total of two if not working alone.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
Absolutely. This option is open to the couple to meet as often as they prefer.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Absolutely 100% guaranteed. No substitutes.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Absolutely not. I view individuals as people and not names on paper. It is important for me to provide time to one event and not worry about upcoming or prior events in the same day/weekend.
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?
Yes; however, unavailability has never happened.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
All equipment necessary to record the event. Two cameras, batteries, tapes, tripods, etc.
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Absolutely.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Just for the meal. It's really not a "break" because I make myself available in case anything related to video happens.
Do you charge overtime?
No. Unlimited time coverage is included in package.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
No. Only the videographer has access to it.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for promotions, contents, etc.?
Absolutely. Primarily to show future clients during consultation appointments.
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
There is no involvement in the editing process unless special arrangements are made in advance.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
Anywhere from eight to twelve weeks. In some cases, less time.
