Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I offer black and white and color photography.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I love shooting in low-light through harsh mid-day sun. I bring supplemental lighting with me to every wedding, so I can make full use af any lighting situation you may have!
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot completely in digital. With the advances in digital technology, there is no longer any advantage to shooting film.
How many photographers do you work with?
I work with an assistant who does some minimal shooting. If you desire a full second shooter, I have associates who can join us for the day.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I shoot only one wedding per day! I want to be able to give you my full concentration on your wedding day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I work with a network of wedding photographers and while I have never had to utilize them, I have many photographers on whom I can call.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I shoot with three Canon camera bodies, a variety of professional lenses, a bag of flashes and studio lights if needed.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, All of my gear is backed up multiple times
Do you charge for travel?
Travel within 100 miles of my studio is included. Beyond 100 miles is a small per mile charge.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Proofs are available as either 4x6 books or a bound proof book. All packages also include a dvd with high resolution images ready to print.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I retain copyright of the images, but you are given a dvd of released images that you may reproduce for personal use.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes, Digital files are included with every order.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, Images are posted to an online gallery for friends and family to order from.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer both flush mount albums and press-printed slim books.
When will the client get the final album?
Albums are created in collaboration with the couple and delivery times are dependent on the photo-choosing process.
