I’d been asked many times why I do what I do. And the more I think about it, the more reasons I see. I love people and the unspoken interaction between beings. My entire life I had been consumed with creative arts: singing, dancing, acting and the likes. What had drawn me to these areas were the ability to break past the surface and see a deeper perspective from the artists. In moments like these, the audience looks past mere words, and begins to seek out depth through expression and emotion. I carried this mentality in my daily life. Every person around me provided a different feeling, a new emotion, an interesting passion. I desire for everyone to see what I’m able to see- to feel what others are feeling. And ultimately, the one word to sum up my feelings is…blessed.

I walk this road thanks to the help and support of all my friends and family, who have challenged and encouraged me throughout my life. Ultimately, I give thanks to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who placed upon me the grace and mercy to see in the way that I do.

Although hard to believe, there is a bit more to me outside of photography. I love singing, enjoy acting, and am intrigued by dancing. I am an ESPN junkie and a die-hard Cubs fan. I’m a technology geek who loves coding and learning about new gadgets. I’m a lifelong Illini. What else do you want to know?

…oh, and so this doesn’t sound like I’m putting myself up on the dating market, I’m engaged to the greatest girl a person could ask for.

It’s difficult to capture reality when people are consumed by the situation around them. It’s not everyday you have a man with a camera following your every move. Thoughts rush through your mind; ‘Is this my best angle?’, ‘Am I smiling too big?’, ‘Should I be looking at the camera or have a dramatic look away from it?’. Without those distractions, everyone is able to let their guard down, and be true…being completely real with those they love.

My first step is to be friends. Tell me what you love, what you hate, what you do. I’ll do the same. We’ll get comfortable…we’ll laugh, we’ll share, we’ll grow. Only after we gain each others trust will we be able to be ourselves. And that’s when it happens. That’s when you get lost in yourself, lost in time, and completely oblivious to life as you once knew it, and are able to be more real than you ever thought possible. This is when people look their best. This is what I love.

When we are together, you are my one priority. Just as you are lost in each other, I will be completely focused on you.

You won’t just be my clients…I want to call you friends.
