Shterion (
aka Sterio) from OutVision Photography is Award Winning Photographer who is published and recognized Internationally. He is also a Instructor of Photography at Professional Photographers of America. For Shterion, photography is not a job, but rather it is a passion; he is quoted as saying, “Photography is something I love to do. It is an extension of my character and personality and something that I cannot live without.”

Shterion discovered his enthusiasm for photography when his parents surprised him with a camera on his 6th birthday. Many cameras later and in 1992, Shterion opened his first photography studio. He began taking pictures all over Europe. Over the years he became a member of many professional photography groups and organizations, including but not limited to:

Professional Photographers Association of Northern Illinois (PPANI);
Associated Professional Photographers of Illinois (APPI);
Chicagoland Professional Photographers Association (CPPA);
National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP);
Photographic Society of America (PSA);
and many more...

Shterion has been fortunate to learn first hand from some of the greatest and world renowned photographers: Hanson Fong; John Woodward; Yervant; Bamby Cantrell; Jerry Ghionis; Bruce Hudson; Joe Bussink; Mike Colon and many others. He is honored to consider many of these wonderful individuals as his personal friends and mentors.

Countless portraits; hundreds of weddings and various commercial projects later, Shterion has been awarded dozens of honorary recognition pieces for his photographic art. Shterion’s work may be viewed in published books; postcards and also featured in magazine publications, some of which include: Chicago Social Bride; Chicago Style Weddings and The Wedding Guide.

Tips and Advice
It’s really important for the client to know what kind of equipment their Photographer is using. The gear is only tool, but you can NOT achieve the best results if you are using low-end or consumer camera that anybody can buy from a retail store. For example the best professional cameras now can capture up to 11 (eleven)  images per second (means never mess the moment) and they can shoot in almost pitch- dark without a flash light.
