The Holiday Inn Downtown is located in historic and beautiful downtown Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Our hotel is a convenient site for a ceremony because all of your guests can stay in our accomodations for a discounted price! The Crown Ballroom was fully renovated in 2008, and our smaller banquet rooms, Napa & Sonoma, make for exquisite intimate gatherings. We also offer free parking and a full-service restaurant.
 
How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
Package prices are per person, and prices include alcohol. All set-up, linens, bar service, and tables settings are included in the price.
 
Do you offer any special services?
Our onsite Wedding Specialist can help you with any decisions you need, as well as offer recommendations on various vendors in the area. The Holiday Inn Downtown is full service, which means we have a great restaurant and bar onsite, as well as a pool, sauna, hot tub, and gym!
 
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
If you book your wedding reception with us, we offer 20% off your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and post-wedding brunch!
 
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
For events that we cater offsite, we include plates, glasses, silverware, linens, and napkins in our low catering fee. You can rent tables from us at an additional price. At this time, we do not rent our chairs or dance floors out.
 
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
No, you are free to use any vendor you wish, but you may not bring in any outside alcohol or food, except for your cookies and cake.
 
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
We do not have musicians or DJs onsite, so you may use whomever you wish. We do not charge any fee for musicians or DJs.
 
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
We have 4 smaller banquet rooms that can be converted into 2 larger rooms if necessary. If the rooms are not taken, they can always be rented out at a discounted rate.
 
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?

Nothing at all is permitted to be hung from/taped to the walls.

We only have one ballroom, but we have a smaller room that can accomodate up to 100 guests. So in some circumstances there may be other events (not necessarily weddings) happening at the same time as a wedding.

We have a public coat room, and several coat closets within our ballroom itself.

We have two bathrooms on the first floor. One is directly adjacent to the ballroom, and is handicap accessible.

All parking is free to guests of events at our hotel. We have a private parking lot, as well as a large parking garage on our lot. Street parking is available and is free after 5pm weekdays and on weekends.
