Diana has been a trusted harpist of brides throughout the Washington, DC area since 1995.  She is committed to providing the absolute best in musical services, from the early stages of planning and aesthetic decision making to the final performance. Drawing from an expansive and diverse repetoire, Diana works with couples on an individual basis to create unique and memorable programs. She strives to make the music aspect of wedding planning as easy as possible: her website features a Weddings page that is designed for convenience and accessability. Clients are able to sample over 25 "tried and true" recommendations, ranging from traditional standards to contemporary favorites. Diana truly enjoys fulfilling her role in the entire wedding process, and will gladly address questions or concerns as they arise.

Ms. Gibbs has performed for ceremonies and cocktail hours in numerous popular venues across the region, including: Rose Hill Manor, Whitehall Estate, Belmont Country Club, River Farm, Mount Vernon Inn, and Waterford Receptions.

Diana earned her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. She is proud to be part of a distinctive lineage begun by the preeminent harpist, composer, and teacher, Carlos Salzedo. The Salzedo approach to harp playing emphasizes the importance of musicality, technical proficiency, aesthetics, and performance: distinguishing characteristics that truly enhance the innate majesty of any wedding.
