All editing and artistic effects are done in photoshop.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Pretty much you name it! Big shadowy churches, bright sun, sunset, candle light, evening, cloudy, indoors and out.
Is your media preference film or digital?
All digital canon equipment, 5Ds and 20Ds.
How many photographers do you work with?
Myself, assistant, and have several other photo friends on call if necessary.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Same day, not usually. Same weekend if location makes that feasible.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes!
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
At least 2 camera bodies, several lenses, external light source, tons of memory, fish eye lens, tripod, backpack and laptop.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Absolutely!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Different levels, usually 4, 8, or 12 hours depending on the coverage needs.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes, $250 per hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
One to eat and generally if I'm not shooting I'm looking for my next photo op.
Do you charge for travel?
Not within 100 miles of Tampa, otherwise depends on location.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Generally 2-4 weeks on your online album
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Pictage online password protected site.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Forever.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I give rights to reproduce a cd of the images as well as the online album for purchasing high quality professional prints.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, unless there is some reason why that is not desired and wording is stated in the contract.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes, a CD of images with rights to them are included with any coverage booked.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, Pictage like stated above.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Anywhere from Magazine style to flush mount think page lay flat pages. Covers range from Linen to Metallic Canvas to Leather. All highly customizable.
When will the client get the final album?
4-6 weeks after your pictures are chosen.
