Angie Matthews and Brittany Galindo, are a cousin, best friend team who shoot, create, work, play and laugh together on every job we do. We are two laid-back gals from Fort Woth, Texas with a passion for creating amazing images and making people look and feel beautiful and we look forward to taking yours.

As former brides, we understand how important (and how difficult) it is to trust someone with this responsibility and we also know how much time is put into the planning of this day; from trying on your very first princess dress, until the moment you FINALLY decided on the perfect place to say- I do. We pay attention to each little detail, reminding you of each small thing that made your day that much more perfect!

Your photos of your event will last a whole lot longer than the day itself-you’ll be looking at these pictures for years to come. The process of working with Posh will be organic; pictures will just happen. Both, Brittany and Angie, are great listeners, warm, perceptive and never formulaic. Our Style...
First of all, we have fun! Our goal at Posh Photography is to create a fun environment for your session. Something a little different than the typical traditional style; something unique. There are no uncomfortable poses or cheesy fake backgrounds. We encourage our clients to interact with each other in a relaxed stress-free environment and prefer to capture REAL emotion.

As former brides, we both know about all the in-depth details of a wedding, how important your wedding photographs are and the chemistry you share with your photographer. Your photos of your event will last a whole lot longer than the day itself-you'll be looking at these pictures for years to come. The process of working with Posh will be organic; pictures will just happen. Both, Brittany and Angie, are great listeners, warm, perceptive and never formulaic. We hope you can view Posh as just another friend to hang out and have fun with at your session or on your wedding day!

What we shoot...
Posh Photography specializes in unique portraits and weddings. We shoot a variety of subjects including, but not limited to, engagements, bridals, newborns, maternity, teens & the young at heart.

All of our weddings and Bridal portrait sessions include coverage by two photographers, Angie and Brittany. One of us will stay with the Bride and one of us with the Groom- capturing images of the girls/guys getting ready and other details. During the ceremony and reception we work together to capture all the great moments of your special day.

How we shoot (our equipment)...
We use professional Canon cameras and lenses only. Everything is 100% digital. We always bring backup equipment for every wedding and portrait session.  Currently shoot with a Canon 5D and Canon 40D's.

Planning your session (where we shoot)...
We do not have a dedicated studio. Instead we prefer to shoot at locations that reflect your unique personality. When planning your session we'll find out what kind of ideas you have and offer suggestions. Consider your interests, hobbies, latest obsessions, etc. You're welcome to call or email us anytime concerning your session, we are never too busy. Please note that some locations (Botanic Gardens, Clark Gardens, Chandor Gardens) require an additional fee for photography.


Seeing your photos...
A couple of days after your session we will post a "sneak peek" on our Blog. The rest of your photos will be ready for viewing in 2 weeks for portraits and 4-6 weeks for weddings.

Ordering your photos...
After your images are edited to Posh's proofing standards, they are uploaded in a private gallery for online proofing. After viewing your photos, you can place orders for artistic prints and albums, DVD of images, etc.

Getting Your Stuff...
Please allow 2 - 4 weeks for prints and other products. Albums and coffee table books take up to 6 weeks.

Reserve your date...
Please call us at 817-201-8522 or email angie@poshphotos.net to book your portrait session or to schedule a wedding consultation. You can also visit the calendar section of our website to send us a message for your specific date. For potential wedding clients, a complimentary consultation will be scheduled.

Weddings...
A 25% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your wedding date with the remaining balance due 2 weeks prior.

Maternity Shoots...
Maternity shoots are best done at about 35 weeks. Before you get too uncomfortable! We will try and be as creative as possible, and create beautiful images of you in full bloom!

Newborns...
Newborn sessions are just that, NEW born! Your brand new baby is best captured as EARLY as possible. Basically within the first 4 to 8 days! At this stage they are in that deep sleep stage, and still able to sleep in that "fetal" position. A lot of preparation and patience goes into these sessions. We like to do these sessions in your home, where we can work with baby's schedule easier. Newborn sessions generally take up to 2 hours. We will need a lot of wipes on hand! Naked babies equal wetness! You will want to dress light, as we will be using a small heater to warm our shooting area.

What to wear:

For our style of photography, we tell our clients to steer away from matchy-matchy outfits. Ultimately it is up to you and your families style to choose what to wear, but here are some of my suggestions.

Do:
-Stay in the same color scheme. (Light green & dark Green, Light blue and dark blue etc.) without wearing the exact same color.
-Bring two outfits, one casual & one dressy.
-Wear fitted clothing – big, baggy shirts/pants can make you look a lot larger than you are.
-Bring PROPS. A guitar, or any instrument if you play one, a skateboard if you like to ride, your motorcycle, your favorite chair or couch, hats, jewelry, you favorite teddy bear you’ve had since birth, ANYTHING to make your session UNIQUE & FABULOUS like YOU!
-I love layers, hats, scarfs, anything with an urban look/feel. Bright colors are always FUN. Textures are AWESOME, like knit hats and sweaters. I love bright leggings and chunky boots on children & tutus on toddlers.

Don’t:
-Wear solid, bright white shirts, it can really wash out your skin tone.
-Wear baggy/loose fitting clothing or clothing with logos.
-Wear crazy patterns & horizontal stripes.

Things you might want to bring with you:
-Flip flops (if you plan on wearing heels, just to walk around in while we’re not taking photos)
-A posterboard with “Thank You,” your name(s), or your wedding date written on it.
-Hairband/ponytail holder in case of a windy day
-Water or something to quench your thirst- sessions can sometimes take up to 2-3 hours.
-A blanket if you don’t want to sit in the grass for some shots.

-Yes, we can travel anywhere in the state, country, or world to shoot your wedding.
